Excessive Parental Praise Nurtures Bullies?

A couple of weeks ago we saw an article placing some blame on teachers and read their response. THIS very interesting article places some blame on PARENTS. In an article by Helen McGrath entitled “Can excessive parental praise turn good kids into bullies?” she raises some very interesting, researched conclusions. In an educational world that now places emphasis on positive reinforcement, and family “experts” who endorse ignoring negative behavior (which I disagree with), you will find this article interesting.
