Jay continues to be a featured speaker for Upward programming for over 8 years now.  As a graduate of Mid-Atlantic Christian College, he has worked throughout the United States as a former youth minister and a national artist presenting church-related programs including conventions, concerts, family and youth-related events.  He has opened for notables such as DC Talk, Point of Grace, 4 Him, and secular Christian artists like Ricky Skaggs, Ronnie Milsap and “Litte Eva,” singer of 60′s hit song, “The Locomotion“.  He is also a former songwriter with A & M Records (Word Music) where he was a staff writer for Amy Grant and White Heart, to name a few.  These experiences along with his roots make him a qualified, capable presenter.
